Design and mechanical characterization of novel stent designs
Propose a novel design for cardiovascular stents and characterize its mechanical properties in a parametric analysis.
1. Computational design of stent
2. ID the loading and boundary conditions at which it is exposed to.
3. Run FE simulations to characterize their elastic response.
4. Adjust design parameters to obtain the structure-property relation.
