Hybrid metamaterials for hip prosthesis
Propose a method to combine two type of metamaterials structures to be used in hip prosthesis. Evaluate their mechanical properties and obtain the structure-property relation via computational models.
1. Computational design of stem in hip prothesis
2. ID the loading and boundary conditions at which it is exposed to.
3. Run FE simulations to characterize their elastic response.
4. Adjust design parameters to obtain the structure-property relation.
