Internship Manufacturing of Biomedical device apparatus
highlight_off

Join a cutting-edge R&D team developing a multi-material, high-resolution light-based bioprinting (LBB) platform for musculoskeletal tissue engineering and biofabricated constructs. The project leverages DLP projection, automated vat operation, and advanced photopolymer bioinks to achieve superior cell viability and tissue functionality.
This internship aligns with the development and optimization phase of the apparatus (TRL 5–6) and focuses on the design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM&A) and optomechanical validation of critical subsystems.
Assist in manufacturing and precision assembly of ther vat system and build platform.
Perform testing and calibration of the DLP projection subsystem, verifying light intensity, exposure uniformity, and optical resolution (targeting ~10–100 µm XY/Z).
Support alignment procedures for optical components, limit switches, and rotating vat mechanics.Operate and maintain CNC machined parts, resin printing tools, and relevant laboratory equipment.
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly and maintenance.
Collaborate in risk assessment, troubleshooting, and iteration of prototype subsystems.
